The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) are now accepting session proposals for the 2024 NCTE-NCTM Joint Conference on Elementary Literacy and Mathematics, June 17–19 in New Orleans.

Session proposal submissions are welcome from educators spanning the curriculums of literacy and mathematics that focus on advancing positive outcomes for our students. Registration in now open! View the topic strands and more today!

The NCTE African American Read-In is the nation’s first and oldest event dedicated to diversity in literature. It was established in 1990 by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month.
