Augustana College African American Read-In

Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois is hosting their annual African American Read-In on February 16th. Sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English, all are invited to enjoy this all-day celebration of Black literature and music. Members of both the community and the campus are encouraged to stop by to listen, or sign up to read/perform a favorite piece by an African American writer.
