Kent D. Williamson Affiliate Membership Award

 

Award Details

Purpose
To recognize affiliates that have substantially increased their memberships or that have recruited new members for NCTE. 

Who Can Participate 
All state, provincial, regional, and local affiliates. 

Number of Awards 
Awards are given to affiliates with the largest percentage of membership growth. 

Award Specifics 
This award will be a certificate presented to each winning affiliate. 

Award Criteria and Deadline 
State, provincial, regional, and local affiliates wishing to apply for the Affiliate Membership Award must complete the submission form by June 30 in the year of the award. Note: We are no longer requiring affiliates to submit membership lists due to data and privacy laws and policies. The affiliate submission forms completed each spring are used to determine the winners of the affiliate awards for the largest percentage of membership growth. To be eligible for the award, affiliates must indicate membership numbers for the current year and the year prior on the submission form.

The winning affiliates will be notified in late summer so that they may have a representative present to receive the award at the Affiliate Breakfast at the NCTE Annual Convention. The affiliate representative is expected to purchase a breakfast ticket with Convention registration. 

Administration 
The NCTE Affiliate Office will administer this award. Winners are determined statistically according to the affiliates information that has been submitted.
